Another great challenge from the daring cardmakers.....I also wanted to feature the butterfly I had just finished so here is the end result! I sewed a chain stitch border on the backing paper, the butterfly is a sticker put onto vellum, cut out and coloured using twinkling h20s and the finishing touch was the 4 flower buttons put in each corner.

I had great fun with this card, I have tried some techniques that various people have been talking about with the butterfly stamp and then mounted it all on an enlarged shredded wheat with some fluffy fibres threaded through the edges. I really like the finished result.
Well have I had a busy time lately, my baby has gone to Bristol to work & live...so a few tears were shed and a lot of sorting out was left.....Also having my grand~children during the holidays is keeping me on my toes.....Not made a card all week...made up for it today I hope and tried to get caught up with all the challenges I have missed. Well firstly I will start with my effort for the C.P.S. #27 challenge!

Here is another card I have made for my friends Ann & Grumpy Jack! This time it includes a picture of their son in his new sports car....I have printed it off in sepia tones to complement the colours of the card...lets hope it is what they want.

for this challenge I have used a photo copy of a photo of my Mum in her "heyday", the dear old soul is now 83 and living more in the past than the now so as I have bought her a bar of her favourite fruit & nut to take with me for her tomorrow I thought I would take this card along for her as well. I am going to tell her that it won the gorgeous Great~Gran competition, that will make her day!

I had to share this card with you all as I was so pleased with the finished result..........I have again used twinkling h20's on to photographic paper to make a backing paper, I have then stamped directly onto it with black stazon, cut out roughly and mounted onto card blank with a hessian matting. My husband really dislikes this card but I think it is fab!

3 arrows..... 3 circles....& 1 square were our given ingredients. Here is my cooked cake with all the icings
I really enjoyed making this card, mainly because I have been playing with my twinkling h20's ( which I had not been able to get to grips with before). The result of my playing is the central square of this card which is photographic paper which I have coloured, allowed to dry and then stamped onto with black stazon. I love the finished result. The arrows required for the recipe gave me problems initially, in the end I made arrows from peel off scraps.

this is the card I made for the blue & green challenge over at Tanda Stamps....the small embellishments at the top did not scan too well but read "friends" & "always". Right now I'm off to start on the rest of the challenges and to make a few birthday cards for family members.
