Again I have been experimenting, this time I coloured the butterfly image using sakura glitter pens, I then covered the whole image with versifine and embossed. The finished effect is simply fantastic, sadly this has not shown up brilliantly in the photo, but give it a go!
I have tried something a little different with this challenge, I rubber stamped my image onto some thick textured mount board using cats eye chalk, I then mixed some of the same colour chalk with water and coloured some of the image. Not sure about the end result but certainly different!
Here is the card I have done for the House Mouse & Friends "Mothers day card" challenge. Using patterned papers and fabric flowers along with ribbon and a mouse!
I decided on complicated simple for this challenge, a simple layout with a complicated image......I have used a sponge along with chalks, masks and glimmer mist to form a backing before stamping my owl image using black stazon. Then simple mounting.
Well I did not get as many challenges done as I was hoping so next time will have to do....meanwhile I just wanted to share this last card which I am simple delighted with....So simply made using a duflex decoupage fairie poppet and a couple of large flower doodles.
The challenge is too make a card with a scene. I am not fortunate to have one of these helping hands c.d's everybody is so enthusiastic about so I decided to create my own scene using a photo taken on a day out in Warwick shire. I have added and coloured an image from a "girl about town" download. The challenge also calls for you to give your scene a title and my title is going to be "Where's the nearest tree?".
I decided to use this challenge to make an anniversary card for my son & his wife. I have used this stamp for two reasons, firstly because it is cute and secondly because its the only stamp with tulips I have LOL!
A little bit of cheating here as I have combined a card to fit two challenges. A nice bright cheerful Easter card for High Hopes....& the Cuttle bug challenge for mellow Yellow....Yellow makes me smile!
I needed to make several elaborate cards for my friends Jack & Ann yesterday, needless to say I have once again fallen behind with my challenges. Any way I will share the cards I have made for Jack & Ann with you and will then concentrate on the challenges!
I needed a very special Wedding card for my very special niece who is getting married in the very near future. I decided to use this challenge for that special card.... My aim was to make a very modern card and I hope she likes it as much as I do! I have also made a shaped box for it to go in but because of the acetate I could not get a good image to share.
I have lost track of the colours I have used in previous challenges but am pretty sure yellow was not one of them so here is my "mellow yellow" offering.
For my final card today I have slotted in the Tanda Teaser. Seeing spots. For this project I have used patterned paper (dotty of course) plain white card put through the dotty embossing folder and a downloaded ostrich which I have enhanced with some feathers.
For this challenge I have combined one of my favourite teddy stamps with a piece of a house mouse stamp, this little character is on the jumping bean stamp, his facial expression is simply adorable! So I decided to use him in my heart!
