Daring Cardmakers "take a letter Ms Jones" challenge "R"

Well I have not been able to get on the net for a couple of days and now I am going to have to play catch up yet again.....Here is my effort for the daring Cardmakers challenge and obviously it is R....rabbit in a red dress, red roses, red ribbon, red backing paper, ruby brads, rainbow oh and rain.....reddy marvelous really!

I have done this card using quite basic backing paper which I have decorated with stitching and a few gems. The focal point being a Tanda stamp oriental lady.

Well yet again been hectic......I have decided that I have reached that horrible age when everyone needs me and my life is non-existent, does that sound selfish or what! Anyway here are a couple of cards I have recently found time to make!

Daring Cardmakers buttons challenge "Butterfly"

Another great challenge from the daring cardmakers.....I also wanted to feature the butterfly I had just finished so here is the end result! I sewed a chain stitch border on the backing paper, the butterfly is a sticker put onto vellum, cut out and coloured using twinkling h20s and the finishing touch was the 4 flower buttons put in each corner.

Caardvarks Challenge "fibres"

I had great fun with this card, I have tried some techniques that various people have been talking about with the butterfly stamp and then mounted it all on an enlarged shredded wheat with some fluffy fibres threaded through the edges. I really like the finished result.
