Isa's Alpha Challenge "L for London of course"

I really enjoyed making this card, I rubber stamped an open topped London bus , lightly coloured it and then cut it out. I played with an image of a photo I had taken the last time I was in London, lightened it and added a couple of clip art pigeons before printing it out and using it as a background. The bus was then mounted with foam pads to give depth.

Wednesday Stamper "Fish" challenge

Here we are yet again with another house mouse rubber stamp combined with a fish stamp. Simply done by rubber stamping and colouring with pencils. The large fish has been cut out and mounted with foam pads to give extra depth!

Tanda Stamps Challenge "Animal Magic"

A little bit of a fun card to ease me back in gently.

Hello......................

Here I am back again,
wow what a busy time....My husband and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary on the 18th and he whisked me away for a few days stay in Oxford where he had arranged a surprise party, what a great time we have had....
Any way back to reality, the computer is working and my feet are back on the ground so time to get stuck in with the challenges.

CPS #29....my favourite things are flowers!

Not really sure if my card qualifies for inspection as I haven't any "favourite things merchandise" but I liked the template sketch so had a go anyway!

Di Hickman sketch Sept #1 "A Man Thing"

Right here I am again nearly caught myself up......For Di Hickmans sketch challenge I decided a mans card was called for and hey presto!

A nice challenge but golly wasn't it fiddly!

Tanda stamps challenge "Patriotic Pallette"

This is the card I have done for the Tandastamps challenge!

Wednesday Stamper "Mulberry & hand made papers"

For this challenge I have used assorted mulberry & handmade papers. Using dies is very successful but are very delicate to handle!

Daring Cardmakers "big softie" challenge!

The daring cardmakers set the challenge for a big softie:-"We want you to use something soft on your card feathers, velvet paper, fluffy fibres all that soft, strokable stuff counts for this one and that's it, easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy!".

So I made a flowery card using velvet paper for the flowers and feathers, very touchy feely!

Alpha challenge " J is for Joy"

Isa's challenge this week is "J" and either has to be bright yellow or Christmas......I have used both making my 1st Christmas card this year! One of many I'm sure!

Hello......

What a stupid week I have had.....Since I last posted I have been without Internet access....you do not realise how much you depend on it until you are without it.
Any way I have a new modem & e~mail address and all being well things will run smoothly once again & I will be back blogging.
Off now to check out what challenges are out there.
See you later!
