Just A Couple to Share.

Here are a couple of cards I have made recently that do not fit into a challenge category. I thought I would share them anyway!

Daring Cardmakers Challenge "Supersize Me"

I love large blooms and quite often use them along side decoupage which I think is really effective. This is a special card for a friends 50th.

ISMAKI Sketch Challenge

Not done many challenges again this week but managed this sketch for the Ismaki challenge!

Tanda Teaser Challenge "Yellow & Blue"

Again I have used a rubber stamped image, coloured using sakura pens, cut out and then mounted onto an encaustic backing.

POLLYCRAFT MONDAY CHALLENGE "CARD FOR A CHILD"

I decided on a card for a little girl for this challenge, keeping fairly simple with a coloured rubber stamped image, sponging and a couple of large peel-offs.

Daring Card Makers Challenge "Games & Toys for Boys"

Well once again I have used one of the "remember when" sets and good old "footy", I still do not see what the fascination with the game is but the old man is sat mesmerised at this minute.....

Gives me some peace (apart from when he makes me jump out of my skin by shouting "GET IN THERE!") without any warning LOL.

My Time To Craft Challenge "Metallica"

For this challenge I have gone back to the simplicity of a peel off and some metallic glitter board.

Dutch Dare "FAVOURITE THINGS"

This was a nice challenge to use your favourite things, gosh it is really hard to decide what is favourite at the moment, it changes daily......but I really do like anything fairy-ish, glittery, shimmering wings, mythical and magical. I think this card sums it all up and I really enjoyed making it!

House Mouse & Friends Challenge "SPRINGTIME"

The sun shinning has certainly let us know that Spring has arrived and all the little critters are busy, busy, busy.

These 3 little mice are certain proof of that!

Cuttlebug Challenge "2 folders & Nature"

I was pleased with the end result of this card the flower is attached to a tag which has what I think is a real earthy feel to it!

PollyCraft Monday Challenge "ORANGE"

I have to admit I am not thrilled with the end result of this card, it seemed like a good idea at the time but somehow orange just isn't right for it, still good and bad as always.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge "Floral Fantasy"

I have again used decoupage flowers for this challenge, I came across these decoupage sheets in the pannier market in Barnstaple and just could not resist them. I felt these had a slightly oriental feel to them.

Rainbow Lady Challenge "TRANSPORT"

I do not know how many of you have come across these decoupage set called "Remember When", but they make a simply fantastic masculine card. They are time consuming to make and fairly expensive to buy (£4.99) for 3 sets but I think they are worth it for a special birthday or occasion. Any way I have made this one and thought it fitted the bill for this challenge, so here it is!

I'm Back Again.....

Hi everybody, have you missed me? cos I've missed you!
Been pretty hectic of late and had little time for crafting, I have made a few cards but just have not had the time for the challenges, anyway I have had a day off today and done nothing but craft and I have managed several of the challenges. I hope to be able to find more time in the future ( fingers crossed).......Meanwhile on with the challenges

I might get around to some more cards later, meanwhile here is one to share:-

ISMAKI Sketch Challenge

Another lovely sketch to follow for the Ismaki challenge, and I decided to go for another manly card!

Tanda Teaser "Vellum"

The challenge for the Tanda Teaser was to use vellum somewhere on your card, I am not over keen on vellum although I do love to make vellum flowers, I always feel they have a very delicate look as if the petals would flutter in the breeze so for this challenge I have made some vellum flowers along with butterflies and a vellum embossed script.
