Rainbow Lady Challenge "magical & mysterious"

Well I have kept my favourite to last, this is the card I have made for Cynthia's challenge, I felt encaustic art was called for and have combined it with a couple of rubber stamps and glitter.

I simply love the effect but I know it is not every ones cup of tea!

Di Hickman Sketch Challenge.

I have not managed this challenge for a few weeks so thought I really ought to make a bigger effort! Another nice sketch to work!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge "Stars at night"

Another chance to use one of my new stamps !

Dutch Dare Sketch Challenge # 20

Again I have made used of one of my new rubber stamps, they really are cute and nice to work with.

Cuttlebug Challenge "emboss on patterned paper"

I often emboss on patterned paper as it has such a lovely subtle effect. For this challenge I have used the swirls embossing folder and one of my new rubber stamps.

Arty Girlz Challenge "blue & orange"

The ideal card for this challenge would have been a Halloween one, but I just cannot bring myself to do Halloween so the challenge will have to make do with a teddy!

My Time To Craft Challenge "personalise it!"

I used this challenge to make a birthday card for my nephew. It has not scanned brilliantly but that's what comes of using lots of glitz I suppose!

C.P.S.# 87 Sketch Challenge

Another lovely sketch from the cps team, I turned it on its edge to better suit the card needed.

Ismaki Sketch

Well I have had a busy day catching up with all the challenges....Here we go with the 1st.

As always to be expected from the Ismaki challenge sketch it was a pleasure to work and I am quite pleased with the end result!

House Mouse & Friends Challenge "anything but a card"

Another challenge that requires something other than a card, again a little out of my comfort zone, so I have opted for another box and kept it fairly simple with a stamped image, some ribbon and a piece of mulberry paper.

High Hopes Challenge # 4 "Anything But!"

I chose to make a box for this challenge, I intend to fill it with Chocolate Brazil's for a little pressy for my Mum!

Tanda Teaser Challenge "Kids Kards"

I have just received some "Whiff of Joy" stamps which I am looking forward to playing with, as a starter I have made this Christmas card to fit in with the Tanda Teaser challenge this week. Kept it quite simple stamping, colouring (sakura) and cutting out the image before placing it onto prepared card blank with foam pads.

Many Thanks Grumpy Jack & Ann!

I would just like to say a big thanks to all the people that leave such kind comments on my blog!

I would also like to state that I DO NOT PAY Grumpy Jack and Ann for the lovely comments they make, it is very flattering that they hold my cards in such high esteem! They are a lovely couple and it is so encouraging to know how much they appreciate my cards.

We all need a little confidence boost occasionally and they certainly give me that....Thank you!
Thought I would share this old picture on yours truly with you all!

Rainbow Lady Challenge "Ribbons"

One final card for today and yep, you've guessed it yet another Christmas card, kept simple with a double bow trim.

C.P.S. # 86 sketch

I thought the simplicity of this sketch was lovely, I did think about doing a pop up card for it then fell back on simple stamping & backing papers.

Ismaki Sketch 35

The last card to be posted for now is this one done for the Ismaki challenge, I have upended the sketch and used a variety of medias, the end result a very busy card that I am not too sure about, but here it is anyway.

My Time To Craft Challenge "GET DOODLING"

As expected its Christmas again, this time I have hand drawn/doodled a swirly holly boarder and completed with a simple rubber stamped image.

Rainbow Lady Challenge "Own Choice"

And of course I chose a Christmas card! I really like the simplicity of this stamp and have used it many times.

Arty Girlz Challenge 56 "Numbers"

Breaking away from Christmas for this one, a simple birthday card for a little girl!

Tilda & Co challenge sketch.

Yet another Christmas card this time following a sketch and featuring Tilda of course.

Dutch Dare Challenge " Christmas Card Stock"

I have to admit I was a little late for the last challenge but as the new challenge is card stock I felt this card would serve that purpose just as well!!!

House Mouse Sketch.

I am still waiting for my delivery of new stamps from America so meanwhile I am using old favourites. Following this sketch was a pleasure and I am delighted with the end result.

High Hopes Challenge 3 "Sewing"

I enjoyed doing this challenge, and used the opportunity to make yet another Christmas card,

it is getting to that time of year where there are not enough crafting hours in the day!

Any way I rubber stamped the noel image using stazon and then coloured using sakura pens. Mounted it all together with hand stitched boarders using yellow embroidery cotton and a red metallic cotton.

Cuttlebug Challenge "Fall/Autumn"

Thought I would get in sharply with this one, didn't want to miss another deadline.

A couple of ordered cards to share:-

Not gotten around to doing any further challenges at present but have completed a couple of ordered cards. The first being a boxed glass for a silver wedding anniversary and the 2nd a congratulations card for a young couple getting engaged. Sadly they have not photographed brilliantly due to the shininess of the card & reflection but I think you can get the effects.

C.P.S. sketch # 85 challenge

I tried something a little different for this challenge and divided a golden blank card with double sided tape which I then glittered, I then used a glue pad to stamp & glitter snow flakes on to the card blank and the mount. Finally I stamped, coloured and cut out the snowman character.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge "buttons and bows"

A right girly card for this challenge, using buttons & bows along with flowery papers.

Cuttlebug Challenge "Use 3 Embossing Folders"

Well here is another new challenge for me, I have just realized that having made this challenge card using 3 embossing folders I have missed the deadline. not to worry I will share it with you anyway.

High Hopes Challenge # 2 "Colour Combo"

I saw a card "Crafty butterfly" had done for this challenge blog and thought I would check it out, any way their 2nd challenge is a colour combo, Blue, Brown & Green. I have had this dragon stamp for some time and never got around to using it so here is a 1st in more ways than one.

My Time To Craft Challenge 32 Teddies

I just adore teddies and this card is done using one of my all time favourites. I have kept it simple using a backing paper to cover the card blank and a black pen to do some fake stitching? Teddy himself has been stamped onto a brown card and I have just coloured in small areas using sakura glaze pens.

Papertake Weekly Challenge "1st"

I decided on a 1st Christmas card for this challenge and used some embossed paper and a cute little chappie

Tilda & Co Challenge "Arts Apart Metal"

For this challenge I have used a metallic bow.

House Mouse & Friends Challenge "Halloween"

This challenge stumped me for a while as I really haven't got anything to do with Halloween, then I decided the mouse on one of my larger stamps looked pretty spooked so I used him on what is intended to be a scary night. Not sure if I have managed Halloween but like the end result anyway!

Artygirlz Challenge 55 "CLIP ART"

I needed a wedding anniversary card for my brother & his wife and as he's dead keen on fishing I thought this clip art I found apt! I have backed the card blank with an encaustic work as my brother is very fond of this technique.

ISMAKI Challenge # 34 Sketch

This was a very busy sketch to work, but I can do busy when necessary, so here it is including the hand stitching option!

Dutch Dare Challenge # 17 "Wild Animals"

Well I have managed yet another challenge today, the Dutch Dare Challenge "Wild Animals" took my fancy, I have kept it fairly simple using some Tanda Animal Stamps and various backing papers and a corner punch.

Tanda Teaser "Just for you"

This is the last card for the time being, (there are lots of challenges I have not managed , so might find more time later).

Meanwhile I have fallen back on an abstract encaustic backing combined with a tanda stamp and sakura pens, a simple peel-off sentiment completes it.

Ismaki Sketch Challenge.

This sketch made me feel a masculine card was called for and so that is what I have done .

Tilda & Co Sketch Challenge

Trying to cling onto the sunshine and bright colours with this one.

Rainbow Lady Challenge # 33 "Bandana Tech"

This sounded like a challenge with a difference, not sure exactly what I was doing but had a little play and here is the result!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge "Christmas Animals"

Well I have had a great morning chilling out in my craft room & chatting to old friends on the phone. Just what the Dr ordered.

For my 1st challenge today I have called on another old friend "pud bear", one of the 1st Christmas stamps I ever bought so only right and proper he takes centre stage.

C.P.S.Sketch # 84

I really like the simplicity of this sketch.

Arty Girlz Weekly Challenge "RED"

You asked for RED, I guess you got it!

Simply done using a butterfly peel-off and a flower stamp from Tanda stamps. A red plastic document wallet, a piece of ribbon and plenty of red glitter!

House Mouse & Friends Challenge #7 "TAGS"

For this challenge I have used several little rubber stamps for the tags and a larger one for the main picture.
