Di Hickman March # 4 Sketch challenge.

For this sketch I rubber stamped a couple of bear images on to a tan paper and mounted them to fit the sketch.

Wednesday Stamper Challenge "purple"

Not sure if this one really qualifies for this challenge as I have not used any rubber stamping......plenty of purple though, so here it is!

Papertake Weekly Sketch Challenge.

I decided on a mans card for this sketch, which will come in handy for my Nieces husbands birthday. Obviously he is a rugby fan....!

Theme Thursday Challenge "Pink and Brown"

Pink elephants is all I could think of and so we ended up with a trio of them !

Arty Girlz Challenge "chocolate"

I kept this one fairly simple making flowers chocolate and coffee coloured papers, I used the same papers to back the card and finished with drawn stems and a chocolate brown bow.

Isamaki Challenge 12....Sketch

I used assorted backing papers to follow this sketch which was quite complex, I then rubber stamped my little girl onto white card and coloured and onto assorted scraps of the same backing papers I had used to prepare the card. All finished with a coloured peel-off sentiment, a flower and brad.

My Time To Craft "Challenge 7 Sparkle"

For this challenge I have used my new Arty Farty glass template and made a Wedding card. Instead of using acetate I used a frosted glitter vellum which I think worked very well, along with some glitter peel-offs a couple of fimo cherries on a cocktail stick and a little ribbon.

Tanda Teaser "Butterfly Blue"

I enjoyed this challenge......I firstly coloured some paper with blue ink pads and a blue glimmer mist. I then used this to back my card blank, Some butterfly rub-ons were dotted around. Lastly I coloured a large butterfly peel-off adhered it to a blue paper added some blue glitter detail and mounted it.

C.P.S.# 57 Challenge..........

I was pleased with the end result of this one. Having up-ended the sketch,

I kept it really simple using a backing paper to form the scalloped margin and again the rectangle. I then rubber stamped my image once onto plain card ( which I coloured and cut out) and again onto patterned paper cutting only the hat detail out.

I then mounted it all onto a pearlescent card blank.

Tanda Teaser...."VA VA VROOM"

I didn't have any rubber stamps suitable for this one so have found an image on one of my c.d.s to decoupage and mount.

Another One To Share.......

Here is a boxed card I have just finished as a special order. The recipients favourite colour being purple!

Daring Cardmakers Challenge "All in the game"

It just had to be a game of golf, for no other reason that that is the only game stamps I have!

Di Hickman Sketch

I kept this fairly simple, using two backing papers and a circle frame made using a fancy template and fancy punch. I then rubber stamped a flower image twice onto foiled paper, cut them out and joined together using a glass brad. The finishing touch a birthday peel off.

Ismaki #11 Sketch Challenge.

GRUMPY JACK.............

I thought I would share this boxed card I have made for Grumpy Jack and Ann. It is for their Son's Wedding Anniversary. I hope he is as delighted, as I am over the moon with the results. Very time consuming and quite expensive in materials but I think the finished result speaks for itself!

Tanda Teaser "My Old China"

Well I have not had much time to spare for crafting over the last few days, I have managed to do this card for last Wednesdays Tanda Teaser and hope I will get caught up with some more tomorrow. Mixed materials used for this card, I have stamped, embossed and cut out an ornate vase, which I then placed on the prepared card using stems of orient blossom peel offs and some peel off blooms put onto red paper, cut around & mounted using foam pads.

Wednesday Stamper Challenge "IN MY GARDEN"

I have kept this one fairly simple as I think sometimes simplicity is best, and this is one of those times. Rubber stamped directly onto bp and coloured using sakura pens.

Caardvarks "TRANSPORTATION" Challenge

Yet another card that I needed to make for a family member. It seems to be mostly men this month. Still at least it allowed me to do this challenge!

Arty Girlz "STARS" challenge.

I needed to make a 30th birthday card for a nephew so took this challenge as a chance to get it done. I had a little accident with my gold leaf pen, (which I use very seldom cos it cost a packet) so instead of just doing the edges of the chipboard numbers I have coloured them completely. LOL!

My Time To Craft Challenge "TICKLED PINK"

I have gone more for texture in this card, using various materials including coloured plastic and fabric paper along with embossing folders and glass brads.

Rainbow Lady Challenge "BRADS"

Well I just finished my card for the pockets challenge only to find that I had missed the boat and the new challenge is brads, as luck would have it I used brads on the pocket card so here is my entry "Pocket Brads"!

Tanda Teaser "get well"

Not done any stamping for this card, just used patterned paper and embossing folder along with a little penguin that has been waiting for a good home for some time!

Wednesday Stamper Challenge "A pair of glasses"

Well I had to turn this into a fun challenge, how could I take a pair of glasses seriously? I thought about a couple of wine glasses but thought that might be a little tedious then thought TED! So here is ted with a new pair of red glasses......he must of gone to spec savers !

Di Hickman Sketch Challenge

I have used some hand coloured backing paper for the band and the flower for this challenge, a few peel off butterflies completed.

CPS # 54 Sketch.

I kept this one fairly simple stamping directly onto patterned papers.

Daring Cardmakers Challenge "A Little Hand Stitching"

For this challenge I have used several new stamps I purchased today and I am quite pleased with the end result!

Papertake Weekly Challenge "Squares"

I tried something a little different for this challenge, the theme being squares, I used a square card , prepared with block design bp. I cut out two smaller square pieces which I then coloured using assorted ink pads and cotton wool balls. I then triple embossed them using extra thick embossing powder. The smaller of the two I then run through a square embossing folder, (although the was not overly successful) . I mounted it all together and made a shirt topper using glittered peel offs.

Arty Girlz # 24 Challenge "Spring"

For me spring is really here when the blossom starts on the trees, for this challenge I have used a flower fairy stamp cut out and coloured with water colours and then mounted on a vellum square with an added ribbon to complete!

Ismaki Challenge Sketch. "Get Well"

Yet again I am combining challenges with a card for my stash box. I enjoyed this challenge with all the different layers!

My Time To Craft challenge "Flower Power"

Looking through my card stash yesterday I realised that I was out of sympathy cards, When I checked the blog challenges this morning I came across this one...Needless to say I am killing two birds with one stone yet again.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge blog "feathers"

Yet another new blog with a challenge, this time to use feathers. I decided on a birth congratulations and my cricut machine came in very handy.

Enfy's Blog Contest. "Black, White & One Other"

Browsing the blogs I came across this one which has a great challenge going. Make a card in black, white & one other colour. I have gone for red and am going to use this card for a wedding acceptance.

Daring Cardmakers Challenge "I am woman"

This one took a lot of thinking about with lots of ideas flashing in and out before I settled on this image and layout!

Di Hickman Sketch Challenge

For this challenge I have made an Easter card, the daffodils sadly didn't scan brilliantly but I think you can get the general idea!
