Encaustic work!
Here is one I thought I would share with you all as I was so pleased with the result....If you haven't tried encaustic work you really ought to have a go, its great fun!
Arty Girlz Challenge "Blue"
Tanda Teaser Challenge "Lets hear it for the boys"
C.P.S. sketch challenge 75
For this challenge I have used a real mixed bag of medias. I have covered the card blank with green mulberry paper, I then made a backing paper using waxes and an encaustic iron a butterfly stamp and stazon ink, the large butterfly I stamped using stazon and then coloured using adirondak inks and a sponge. Finally I made a scalloped edged border with the small butterfly stamp and little flowers. The result a very busy card!
Cute Card Thursday Challenge "Things that Grow"
Well I have had a pretty hectic time just lately ( whats new ) and I have several commissioned cards to make as well as trying to keep up with the challenges, so for this challenge I have taken the opportunity to do a commissioned card for a little girls 1st day at school. How does that fit in with this challenge I hear you ask, well Children grow don't they?

And Finally for today!
My hubby and I went to Barnstaple for the day yesterday and there in the pannier market was a lovely lady making the most fantastic Encaustic art pictures. Well that was it I just had to go and buy some materials to have a go, and I am sharing with you all my first attempt.
I can only dream of becoming as talented as the lady at the market, but am going to enjoy playing and hope I will get better as it is a lot harder than she made it look!

My Time To Craft "Challenge 23: Artfully Asian "
There seems to be a big demand for oriental challenges at the moment, The challenge for My Time To Craft this week is artfully Asian, I have used a clip art image, printed in draft to give a faded backing effect, I then printed out a geisha girl and decoupaged her before setting onto the prepared card, the final touches a few rubber stamped images.

Tanda Teaser Challenge "Double Trouble"
Well for this challenge I was flummoxed, how to do a reverse image, I have a reversing stamp but never find this very successful, any way having given it some thought and having rummaged around my craft room I came across a pack of name badge laminating pouches. (Brain wave time)!
I cut a piece of white paper to fit the pouch, rubber stamped the tree image and the giraffe onto the paper and filled in the white areas with adirondak inks and a sponge, I then rubber stamped the giraffe image using stazon onto the inside of the laminating pouch, laminated it all together, punched a hole and added a ribbon and one book mark made. I then prepared the card blank and hey presto!
A card with a gift.

Finally for Today.....
finally for today I thought I would share a canvas I have done, if it reminds anyone of a card I made a couple of weeks ago, that is because it is a larger version of a card I made a couple of weeks ago! I was so pleased with the card and decided it would make a lovely picture, so I bought a canvas board and reproduced the card directly onto it (omitting the ribbons). For the mermaid I rubber stamped her onto blue paper and then scanned it into my computer and enlarged it before printing out and edging with adirondak sponged inks.
Now to find a home for it!

I Have An Award!
I was delighted to hear that Cynthia (http://rainbowladyscraftyblog.blogspot.com/) thought that my work was deserving of this award. Thank you very much Cynthia, I will wear it with pride. I understands that I also have to nominate someone else who I think is deserving, well there can be only one and that is Wendy ( http://craftblog.craftybutterfly.co.uk/) as I get so much inspiration from her and her blog!

My Time To Craft challenge 22 "numbers"
Rainbow Lady Challenge 20 "favourite flower"
I love all flowers especially when someone else buys them for me! But my favourite has to be the hand made flower, as it last for a long long time!
Sorry I should of explained how I made these flowers. I have used a tanda rubber stamp and stamped it once onto coloured vellum paper on once onto 3 layers of fantasy film. I have then cut them out and put them together with a glass tack thing. ( I say tack thing as I bought it as a set in the £ shop and it is brilliant .)

Cute Card Thursday Challenge "No patterned paper"
I am a little late getting this one on as it is for last weeks challenge of no patterned paper. I have coloured directly onto the card blank using a sponge, adirondak inks, rubber stamps and some peel-offs as masks. I finished it off with the little girl, stamped, cut out and stuck on with foam pads.
